RentRedi Reviews: Is It Worth It for Landlords?

RentRedi reviews come down to price and scope: one plan with unlimited properties, tenants and teammates for $12 a month billed yearly, $20 on a 6-month term or $29.95 monthly, with a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a free trial. Screening is tenant-paid at $39.99 or $49.99. It is good value from about three units up.

RentRedi is landlord software sold as one plan with unlimited properties, tenants and teammates; you only pick how often you pay. This RentRedi review weighs that flat price against what you get and what it does not publish, and answers the common questions: is RentRedi legit, is there a free trial, and who pays for screening. Fee detail and how RentRedi compares at 1, 5 and 10 units are on RentRedi pricing.

Verdict for a small landlord: RentRedi is a strong value once you have more than a few units, because the price does not rise with your portfolio: $144 a year covers 1 unit or 100 on the annual plan. For a single unit, free apps cost less. Start on the annual plan only after you are sure, or use the 30-day money-back window as your trial.

RentRedi's monthly-equivalent prices x 12, from its pricing page, read November 2, 2026. Same features and unlimited units on every term.

RentRedi says every subscription has the same full feature set with unlimited properties, tenants and teammates, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee: "No contract, cancel anytime." (RentRedi). The terms are $29.95 a month, $20 a month on the 6-month plan and $12 a month on the annual plan (RentRedi pricing); RentRedi's own figures put the annual saving at $215.40 a year against monthly billing (RentRedi).

1 unit$12.00
5 units$2.40
10 units$1.20
20 units$0.60

$12 a month divided by the unit count; the price is the same for any number of units.

Is there a free trial?

No. RentRedi says you are "charged when you subscribe (it's not a free trial)" but covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee (RentRedi). In practice that is a trial you pay for up front: set a reminder for day 25 if you are unsure.

RentRedi tenant screening and other costs

"Screening is tenant-paid: $39.99 for credit, criminal, and eviction reports, or $49.99 with Plaid-certified income verification. Credit reporting is $5.99/mo, landlord- or tenant-paid." (RentRedi). The pricing FAQ says these are "The only optional costs" (RentRedi). It does not list per-payment fees for tenants paying rent by bank or card on that page; those amounts are covered on RentRedi pricing from RentRedi's help center, so confirm them before you tell tenants what they will pay.

What landlords get

  • Rent: "Online rent payments (ACH, card, cash)," autopay, automatic late fees and "Quick 2–3 day payouts" (RentRedi).
  • Everything else: listings, screening, accounting, messaging and maintenance are included on every term (RentRedi); RentRedi counts 121 features in all.
  • Support: "live phone support (9-5 EST), 24/7 chat" and onboarding help, for you and your tenants (RentRedi).

Is RentRedi legit and safe?

Yes. It publishes one clear price, a written money-back guarantee and its screening prices, and offers phone support to tenants as well as landlords. The gap is the tenant payment fees, which the pricing page leaves out while calling screening and credit reporting the only optional costs.
